Peregrine Law Consultation Policy

Consultations cost $100 and are scheduled for one (1) hour. All consultation fees are credited towards legal fees, on the condition that you retain Peregrine Law within ten (10) business days of your consultation. Peregrine Law accepts cash, checks and credit cards to pay the consultation fee.

You should expect to spend at least 45 minutes, up to one hour, discussing your case with Attorney Andrea Montavon-McKillip. The first daily appointment is 9:00 a.m., and the last daily appointment is 4:00 p.m. Peregrine Law can accommodate in-office, telephone, and Skype (video) consults. Please feel free to split the cost of the one-hour consultation fee with family members or friends, and bring everyone to the consultation to have their immigration questions answered. However, please be aware that, for any consultations that exceed one hour, you will be required to pay an additional $100. Also, if Attorney Montavon-McKillip has another consultation or other prior commitment scheduled immediately after your consultation, she will not be able to spend more than one hour with your group. In addition, if you do bring additional people with immigration questions to the consultation, the additional people will be asked to wait in the lobby to preserve attorney-client confidentiality until it is their turn.

The consultation is your chance to have all of your immigration questions answered. In order to make the best use of your consultation time, please fill out the Peregrine Law intake questionnaire ahead of time, so that Attorney Montavon-McKillip can conduct any necessary research before your scheduled visit. The firm's questionnaire will be emailed to you if you provided an email address upon scheduling your consultation. However, if you prefer to receive a hard-copy of the form in the mail or via fax, please let us know so that we get it to you as early as possible.

Please bring your passport and green card (if applicable) to the consultation. If Attorney Montavon-McKillip requires that you bring any other documents to the initial consultation, she will contact you directly prior to your appointment. Please provide us with your cell phone number so that we can text you an appointment reminder and confirmation the day before your consultation. Please plan on being prompt to your consultation, or Attorney Montavon-McKillip may not be able to spend an entire hour discussing your case with you. If you cannot make the consultation at your scheduled time, please call with at least 24 hours advance notice to reschedule.
